The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a change to the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) schedule. The exam will now begin on Thursday, April 24, 2025, a day earlier than the original date of April 25.
According to an official statement from JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the date was adjusted to accommodate important commitments involving the Board and its partner agencies.
Candidates who have registered for the exam are now able to print their UTME Notification Slips from the JAMB portal. These slips contain essential information such as the exam date, venue, and time. To print the slip, candidates should visit www.jamb.gov.ng, select “2025 UTME Slip Printing,” enter their registration number, and print the slip.
JAMB also reminded candidates that they must sit for the exam only at centres within the examination town they selected during registration. No candidate will be allowed to write the exam outside their assigned town.
To avoid last-minute confusion, candidates are encouraged to familiarize themselves with their exam centres ahead of the test date.
